The Heydar Aliyev Turkic World Scholarship, organized jointly by Ibn Haldun University, the Turkic States Organization, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, was announced during the commemoration meeting for Heydar Aliyev. The meeting took place on December 12, 2023, and included representatives from the Organization of Turkic States member states in Istanbul.
As part of this scholarship program, a commission formed by our university and the Turkic States Organization will select one student each from the five full members and three observer members of the Organization of Turkic States. These students will pursue graduate education at Ibn Haldun University.
The primary goal of this program is to nurture future leaders and thinkers who view the Turkic World as a cohesive whole, building upon shared civilization and cultural heritage to shape a common future.
Our university will waive tuition fees for scholarship recipients, pay stipends and provide accommodation facilities. Outstanding Achievement Scholarship (UBB) will be given to doctoral students, and Achievement Scholarship (BAB1) will be given to master's degree students.
