Why PhD at Ibn Haldun University?

One of the strongest features that make Ibn Haldun University’s Clinical Psychology Doctorate Program so special is the Ibn Haldun University Psychotherapy Application and Research Centre (IPAM). This center provides a clinical practice environment that enables Ph.D. students to also be trained as therapists.

In our program, theoretical education and clinical practice are carried out in a balanced way by national and international academicians with a strong understanding of science. Focusing primarily on CBT, the program includes different therapeutic approaches used in clinical psychology, focusing especially on trauma, couple therapies, positive psychology, and Islamically integrated psychotherapy.

Scholarship possibilities are available for successful students who are admitted to the program. Openings for assistantships also exist and these provide students with an opportunity to gain useful academic experience. In addition, students are offered the possibility of work as clinicians at IPAM during their doctoral education.
